TV Ratings Premiere Notes For Friday, October 24, 2014: Grimm (NBC), Constantine (NBC)

Constantine premiered, and Grimm returned.  Let's see how they did below.

Grimm (NBC, Fridays at 9pm ET)

5.30 million Overall Viewers
1.5/5 in the 18-49 Demo

Grimm returned healthily, as it always does.  There should be no end in sight to one of the few bright spots on Friday nights when Hannibal isn't airing.

Constantine (NBC, Fridays at 10pm ET)

4.30 million Overall Viewers
1.4/5 in the 18-49 Demo

While stable numbers like these would likely result in Constantine's renewal, this isn't particularly encouraging for a premiere.  What is encouraging is there was no drop in the 18-49 demo from the first to second half hour, and only a small drop in overall viewers.  In almost all premieres, there's a significant drop from the first to second half hour, and when there isn't it typically means the viewers liked it.  I guess we'll find out next week if these numbers are for real.  It's in trouble if it drops to a 1.2 or below.  Thanks for reading.

Chris Colley's TV Morsels Episode 2: "Honest Promos" For The Pilots Of How To Get Away With Murder (ABC), Black-ish (ABC), Gotham (FOX), Madam Secretary (CBS), The Mysteries of Laura (NBC), Forever (ABC)

You made it back for episode 2, "Honest Promos".  In this video, I'll give an intro and then show you six Honest Promos I created for the six Pilots I've watched this season, so far.  It's not too late to start on any of these shows, if any of the promos grab you in ways the real ones didn't.  I didn't view any marketing materials for any of these shows before editing the Honest Promos, so any crossover with the official trailers is purely coincidental.  My Honest Promos are cut straight from the shows.  Thanks for reading and watching.
