TV Premiere Ratings Notes For Wednesday, September 25, 2013: The Middle (ABC), Back In The Game (ABC), Revolution (NBC), Modern Family (ABC), Criminal Minds (CBS), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS), Nashville (ABC)

Not much to say today, so let's get to it.

The Middle (ABC, Wednesdays at 8pm ET)

8.756 million Overall Viewers
2.4/8 in the 18-49 Demo

Totally standard ratings for this show.  Expect another season.

Back in the Game (ABC, Wednesdays at 8:30pm ET)

7.885 million Overall Viewers
2.2/7 in the 18-49 Demo

I haven't seen the whole episode yet, but I caught the end of one scene that I thought was amazing.  The scene I'm referring to is the culmination of a bullying incident that I thought was one of the most hilarious, ballsy, and edgy things I've ever seen on TV.  Kudos to this show for that.  The ratings are only okay, but okay enough for now.

Revolution (NBC, Wednesdays at 8pm ET)

6.957 million Overall Viewers (Second Half Hour)
1.8/6 in the 18-49 Demo

6.612 million Overall Viewers (Second Half Hour)
1.8/6 in the 18-49 Demo

O noz, omigod, without a lead in, Revolution's ratings suck.  That's a total shock, said no one anywhere ever.

Modern Family (ABC, Wednesdays at 9pm ET)

11.434 million Overall Viewers (First Half Hour)
4.0/11 in the 18-49 Demo

11.462 million Overall Viewers (Second Half Hour)
4.2/11 in the 18-49 Demo

I'm mad at this show for winning the EMMY over my favorite comedy, Veep (HBO).  In fact, I'm so mad at it, I'm predicting renewal RIGHT EFFING NOW.

Criminal Minds (CBS, Wednesdays at 9pm ET)

11.428 million Overall Viewers (First Half Hour)
2.8/8 in the 18-49 Demo

11.149 million Overall Viewers (Second Half Hour)
2.8/8 in the 18-49 Demo

At this rate, this show will never end.  I guess that's cool.  I don't really know anymore.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC, Wednesdays at 9pm ET)

8.627 million Overall Viewers (First Half Hour)
2.3/6 in the 18-49 Demo

9.512 million Overall Viewers (Second Half Hour)
2.6/7 in the 18-49 Demo

10.119 million Overall Viewers (Third Half Hour)
2.9/8 in the 18-49 Demo

9.753 million Overall Viewers (Fourth Half Hour)
2.8/8 in the 18-49 Demo

I don't know which I'm more upset about, that I had to write out four half hours for this show, or that it's still on the air.  I'll let you choose.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS, Wednesdays at 10pm ET)

9.271 million Overall Viewers (First Half Hour)
2.1/6 in the 18-49 Demo

8.652 million Overall Viewers (Second Half Hour)
2.0/6 in the 18-49 Demo

With numbers like these, you should expect to see this show shuffled off to Fridays next season, in preparation for its final season(s).  Bruckheimer is having a terrible year on CBS, and CBS is having a terrible year on CBS.

Nashville (ABC, Wednesdays at 10pm ET)

6.863 million Overall Viewers (First Half Hour)
2.2/6 in the 18-49 Demo

6.383 million Overall Viewers (Second Half Hour)
2.0/6 in the 18-49 Demo

Oh, is this show still on?  How about that.  Thanks for reading.
