Golden Boy (CBS, Tuesdays at 10pm ET)
7.45 million Overall Viewers
1.0/3 in the 18-49 Demo
I never made a post about some interesting news about this show, so I'll do it here. On Thursday, it was announced that Golden Boy would be remaining in the special preview slot it had occupied for the last two Tuesdays for the remainder of the TV season. Its ratings weren't great, but it was keeping numbers that were relatively consistent, if not slightly better than Vegas's. The casualty of this change, of course, is that Vegas will be moving to Fridays at 9pm ET following the NCAA Basketball March Madness Tournament. If Golden Boy's ratings in its originally intended slot are any indication, Ralph Lamb will be disappearing off into the sunset without a peep. The good news for Vegas is that if it does do anything like a 1.4 in the 18-49 demo, it would be a near lock for renewal. I can't see that happening, but you never know. Based on how poorly Golden Boy did here, I'm not really sure what the plan is for the show's future, because its numbers are not good enough to get renewed Monday-Thursday. Maybe they are planning on it being a Summer show along with Unforgettable.
Grimm (NBC, Fridays at 9pm ET)

1.5/5 in the 18-49 Demo
Hallelujah, Grimm has finally returned, and its ratings weren't destroyed by a very long hiatus. They're solid as a rock for Friday programming, and you should expect it to be one of the first NBC renewal announcements. Thanks for reading.
