Animal Practice (NBC, Wednesdays at 8pm ET)
3.8 million Overall Viewers
1.1/3 in the 18-49 Demo
Yep, this show is dunzo. It's been on the list you don't want to be on for a week, and I expect a cancellation announcement any day now. I'm pretty sure Whitney will be moving into this spot.
Guys with Kids (NBC, Wednesdays at 8:30pm ET)
4.19 million Overall Viewers
1.4/4 in the 18-49 Demo
The show fell off the bubble, this week, and it looks like it's done. I'll give it another week, before putting it on the list, but this show is seemingly on the way out. That's probably what will give Animal Practice another week on the schedule, while NBC waits to see the ratings for this show, next week.
The Neighbors (ABC, Wednesdays at 8:30pm ET)
6.39 million Overall Viewers
2.0/5 in the 18-49 Demo
Make no mistake about it, this show is steamrolling toward renewal.
Nashville (ABC, Wednesdays at 10pm ET)
8.93 million Overall Viewers
2.8/8 in the 18-49 Demo
Don't trust these numbers. It had a spectacular lead in, from the most popular scripted TV show in the 18-49 demo, Modern Family. It lost a lot of the lead in, and next week it won't have the benefit of the Modern Family lead in. Expect the ratings to go down a lot. This looks like an expensive show, so it needs to stay at a 2.0 or above to have any real renewal chance. This is a developing story, that may take about three weeks to solve.
Chicago Fire (NBC, Wednesdays at 10pm ET)
6.61 million Overall Viewers
1.9/5 in the 18-49 Demo
This show is DOA. I watched it earlier today, and while it wasn't the worst show I've seen this season, it is not very good. I'll give it one more episode, to see where it heads, but that will likely be the last chance I give it to wow me. I'm expecting a significant drop next week, and would be surprised if it hits a 1.7, and am expecting a 1.6 at the highest.
Arrow (CW, Wednesdays at 8pm ET)
4.14 million Overall Viewers
1.3/4 in the 18-49 Demo
The good people at Warner Bros. must be turning back flips over how well this show performed, last night. It looks like a hit, and it might be around for quite awhile. I'm getting close to actually deciding to check the show out. Thanks for reading.
