Once Upon a Time (ABC, Sundays at 8pm ET)
11.01 million Overall Viewers
3.8/10 in the 18-49 Demo
That's a blazing start to season 2, but it's still not enough to get me interested in watching it again.
Revenge (ABC, Sundays at 9pm ET)
9.50 million Overall Viewers
3.2/7 in the 18-49 Demo
Revenge moves to a new slot, and does absolutely fantastic. This was only down .1 from the series premiere last season, and Revenge never hit those numbers again. This is a great sign for the show.
The Good Wife (CBS, Sundays at 9pm ET)
9.81 million Overall Viewers
1.8/4 in the 18-49 Demo
I don't think these are great numbers, by any stretch, but they're probably survivable. If I remember correctly, CBS has had a tremendously difficult time trying to sell The Good Wife into syndication, so they'll probably just keep giving it episodes until someone buys it. My guess is that Vegas could potentially fall into this slot, next season, if its ratings fall a bunch, but aren't bad enough to get it an outright cancellation. That's probably the biggest wild card related to this show, right now.
666 Park Avenue (ABC, Sundays at 10pm ET)
6.97 million Overall Viewers
2.2/5 in the 18-49 Demo
Two shows this season have extremely unappealing names. The first is The Mob Doctor (FOX, Mondays at 9pm not for long). I don't think anyone thought it would be any good, because it just has an incredibly stupid name. So, no one gave it a shot, even if it is good. Having a show title with 666 in the name is just a terrible idea on a lot of levels. I think they should have named it 999 Park Avenue, and then let the reveal happen like they did in the trailer. This show is DOA, and I can't see it making it. Its lead ins were too strong for this premiere to be this much of a disaster. The name is the only reason this didn't do well, in my opinion.
The Mentalist (CBS, Sundays at 10pm ET)
10.83 million Overall Viewers
2.1/5 in the 18-49 Demo
The Mentalist was forced to Sundays, and outperformed its lead in, in the typically low rated CBS Sunday night lineup (by their standards). Expect this to be high on the list of shows that are certain to get renewed. Thanks for reading.
