Revenge (ABC, 10pm ET)
6.826 million Overall Viewers
2.0/6 in the 18-49 Demo
Uh oh. Revenge's ratings have fallen into bubble land. I wasn't expecting this big of a fall, after last week's ratings, but I had been expecting numbers sort of near this, since seeing the plot twist that Daniel was not who died on the beach. We probably would have seen numbers similar to this shortly after the twist, had the show not gone into two hiatuses. Now that it's back, it has one more week to re-establish its audience. Taking a somewhat soapy show, and turning it into an almost farcical soap, while completely getting rid of all the things the non soap watching audience liked, was a bad move. Stay tuned for next week's ratings, when I'll finally make a prediction about this show's fate, no matter what.
Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23 (ABC, 9:30pm ET)
4.885 million Overall Viewers
2.0/5 in the 18-49 Demo
Remember what I have said about the problem with a good lead in? Without a Modern Family original, it was no surprise that Apt. 23's numbers were down significantly. These numbers are significantly better than the no Modern Family lead in ratings for Happy Endings (Happy Endings season finale had a 1.7 in the 18-49 demo, and 3.67 million viewers, without a Modern Family lead in). Since I'm predicting a renewal for Happy Endings, there's no reason why I won't still be predicting a renewal for this show...for now. Thanks for reading.
